Bracknell Flowers: A Potted History
Bracknell Flowers: Background
Bracknell Flowers was launched in 2002 as part of Borough Council’s commitment to protect and enhance our environment and to give the town’s Britain in Bloom entry a strong identity. 2002’s Jubilee-coloured floral displays in the town centre celebrated the Queen's Golden Jubilee and prompted overwhelming credit and positive media coverage which generated great local civic pride.
Since then, Bracknell Flowers has gone from strength to strength, first entering Thames and Chilterns in Bloom in 2003 and the national Britain in Bloom competition in 2004.
