Consumer Direct
Bracknell Forest Council's Trading Standards team works in partnership with Consumer Direct, which was initiated by the Department of Trade and Industry (now the Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform) and provides consumers with a consumer advice service.
Consumer Direct is a telephone and on-line service providing clear, practical, impartial advice to help resolve problems and disagreements consumers may have with suppliers of goods or services.
From overcharging to faulty goods, from dodgy workmanship to reporting dishonest traders and scams, advisers are ready to help find solutions to individual problems.
Telephone lines are open:
- Monday to Friday: 8.00 - 18.30
- Saturday: 9.00 - 13.00
