Recyle your cooking oil

Important changes to Longshot Lane Household Waste Recycling Centre from 1 December 2009
re3 is introducing new measures to help prevent businesses disposing of waste at the HWRC. These include a waste acceptance policy and new rules about bringing vans and trailers to site. Please go to the re3 website for more information.
Special offer on green cones
Bracknell Forest residents are being offered another chance to buy a green cone food waste digester, which can take meat, bones, bread and dairy products, for a special price of just £19.95 while stocks last.

Bracknell Forest Council’s Waste and Recycling Team manages external contracts to ensure collection, recycling and disposal of household rubbish in the borough. This includes collection of bulky household items and clinical waste collection.

Recycling in the garden The Council operates Alternate Bin Collections (ABC). One week recyclables and garden waste are collected and on the alternate week rubbish for landfill is collected. Find out which zone you live in and when your collection is due from LocalView.

The Council provides recycling sites throughout the borough where residents can recycle a variety of materials. Home composters are also available at subsided rates, or free of charge, if residents request a smaller wheelie bin.
