More and more we live in a digital world, which allows us to enjoy words and sounds from portable devices and PCs. Now you can browse, borrow and download e-books and e-audiobooks without leaving your home, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We work with three suppliers. You may find it useful to read our overview of what each of these suppliers offers. Please note that at the moment we do not offer Kindle books for loan.

You must be a member of Bracknell Forest libraries to use these services. If you are not yet a member of the library you can become one by applying for an e+ card at any of our libraries.

OverDrive

You can borrow e-books and e-audiobooks from OverDrive.

• Overdrive e-books and e-audiobooks

Please note that you will need to install OverDrive's Media Console before downloading any e-audiobooks.

Bolinda

Your first step is to set up an account with Bolinda.

• Bolinda audiobooks

After you have logged in you can browse the books and preview them before downloading them. You can download four books at a time.

EBSCOhost (previously Clipper Downloads)

The first time you want to access these audiobooks you need to log into your library account. When you are logged in, click on the Audiobook Download tab. This will take you to our audiobook download home page.
