Library Membership and Borrowing
Membership is free and there are no age limits Everyone who lives, works or studies in the Borough, or who lives in a neighbouring authority, can register. Membership enables you to use any library in the Borough.
If you already have an e+ Bracknell Forest Smartcard, your membership will be added to it. If you don't have a card and would like one, please visit our How do I get an e+ card? page. If you are under 16 years, a parent, grandparent or legal guardian will need to act as a guarantor for you.
Visitors to the area, who are members of other libraries in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, can also use Bracknell Forest's libraries without becoming a member here. While they borrow from us, they will be issued with a temporary ticket and they must surrender their own library card.
Please remember to bring your e+ card with you.
