School Crossing Patrol
The job of a School Crossing Patroller is to help the public cross roads on their way to and from school.
This role has never been more important than today and as the number of vehicles on the road increases, so does the danger for our children when crossing the roads.
The role involves dealing with many day to day challenges from poor weather to impatient drivers however the job satisfaction outweighs this through the relationships built up with the children and parents and the respect received from the local community.
School Crossing Patrollers are employed by the council. The School Admissions Team is responsible for the appointment, supervision and administration of the service, the training is supported by the Councils, Road Safety Officer.
The council is always actively recruiting it’s vacancies across the borough.
Would you like to boost your income, while helping local children, parents and schools by providing a valuable service to your community?
