Additional Info: Youthline Ltd provides a drop in service for young people aged 11 to 24. The service is free of charge. The counsellor is there to listen, care and provide a safe situation in which the client can work in confidence. It is advisable to ring for an appointment.
Training: Counsellor training is held once a year at Youthline through Reading College school of Arts and Design.
Projects:
Speak-Up - Anti Bullying line: Two mobile phones number are allocated for young people to text Youthline with any bullying problems they are experiencing. The messages are initially acknowleged and a trained counsellor will then make contact between the hours of 4pm and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Coming Clean - Drugs and Alcohol Awareness: Youthline can run small groups at schools and at Youthline on alcohol and drugs awareness.

Youthlink - This projects aim is to extend the communication facilities at Youthline in ways that may encourage young people to contact the centre and make an appointment for Counselling.
