Bracknell Half Marathon 2012

Thank you to everyone that has entered the Bracknell half Marathon nice and early. Entries are coming in at a good rate and we expect to once again sell out sometime in the early spring. Although there are currently plenty of places left, it would be as well not to delay.
The Half Marathon Office will be closed from 5pm on Thursday 22 December until 9am on Tuesday 3 January.
Any emails received during that period will be dealt with as soon as possible when the office reopens.
Although the office will be closed, the On Line Entry Service will remain open throughout the Christmas and New Year period. To avoid disappointment please enter early.
The race will take place on Sunday 29 April 2012, starting in front of South Hill Park Arts Centre at 9am.
The route will be the same as in 2011, finishing on the lawn at the rear of the arts centre.
Runners may enter the race by one of two methods. They can enter online or by postal application. Last year's entrants will receive an entry form through the post in the next couple of weeks, whilst new runners can download an entry form from this site. The entry fee for this year is £19 whether entering online or by post.
Runners wishing to enter the race MUST have reached their 17th birthday on or before the day of the race. Entries received from runners younger than 17 years will be returned.
As with most races a large percentage of the entry fee is committed very early to the purchase of consumables and the hire of equipment. The organisers therefore regret that entry fees will not be refunded nor will entries be deferred to future events.
Entries have sold out for the last 5 years - runners are advised to enter early to avoid disappointment
In the meantime runners wishing to plan their day out at the Bracknell half marathon will find last year's results on the Sports Systems website and photographs from last year's race on the ProSport Photos website. You can also download travel directions to South Hill Park and the route map for 2012.
