Pushes and Pulls Show KS1

Baby Eric the Owl falls out of a tree and is looking for his mummy! On his way to find her, he visits places like the play area where he finds out lots more about how we make something change direction and using pushes or pulls to change the shape of something.

Forces Show KS2
14 September - 23 December 2010
Is there a link between sports and forces? Why does a football change direction? Could you do a tug of war on an ice rink? Discover friction, measure pushes and pulls and investigate the invisible force of gravity.

Electricity KS1
17 January - 4 May 2011
We will help KS1 children understand more about electricity in a fun way! We will look at simple series circuits, switches and everyday objects that require electricity. Included is a trail around the exhibition to identify where electricity is used at The Look Out.

Electricity and Magnetism KS2
17 January - 4 May 2011
Take part in the exciting story of how electricity was discovered. Join us in making a human circuit to show how electricity flows. Some of the uses of electricity are examined. Plus, investigate how magnets create forces.
