Green Flag Scheme
Lily Hill Park was awarded the prestigious Green Flag Award in 2008 and 2009, following completion of the restoration project.
The Green Flag Award Scheme is a national standard for the quality of public parks and green spaces in England and Wales. Sites are judged on the following criteria:

- Community involvement

- Management
