The teenage years or adolescence can be an emotional time for all concerned.

Studies have shown that most teenagers like their parents and feel that they get on well with them. So why do so many people find adolescence so difficult? It is a time of rapid physical development and deep emotional changes, which can be exciting, but also confusing and uncomfortable for your teenager and for you as a parent/carer.
