Older Persons' Strategy

Bracknell Forest Council values the contribution that all its residents make to the community and is especially keen to promote the contribution that its older residents make within the borough. The council’s six overarching priorities include the clear objective 'to promote independence and choice for vulnerable adults and older people. One of the key actions within this overall objective is 'to develop a borough-wide strategy for older people'.

This strategy sets out a long-term vision for the future of our community, and paves the way for Bracknell Forest to become an even better place in which to 'live, work and play: as an older person'. It also incorporates specific actions for the next two years, which will be stepping stones to achieving our long-term vision.

A copy of the Older Persons’ Strategy and the Executive report can be found in the downloads section on the right hand side of this page. It can also be requested by email from asc&h.commissioningteam@bracknell-forest.gov.uk or by telephone 01344 351936.
