Dementia Advisory Service

Dementia Advisory Service Image

Advice and support for those people diagnosed with dementia, their carers, family and friends. We can provide information on:

  • Local support services
  • Getting a break
  • Legal planning
  • Support for carers
  • Living well with dementia
  • National support services
  • Money matters

The Dementia Advisory Service provides relevant and timely information throughout a person’s journey with dementia. Support is provided within an environment which is tailor-made for the individual.

If you have a diagnosis of dementia or you provide care for a person with a diagnosis of dementia and you would like support, then please contact us (see contact details on the right of this page).

Please note: those people who are already being supported by either a CPN or Care Manager, will not require the support of the Dementia Adviser.

If you are you worried about your memory problems, but do not have a diagnosis of dementia you will need to contact your GP in the first instance.
