History of Forestcare
The Forestcare Emergency Service was established in 1991, primarily to provide out-of-hours emergency cover for residents and departments of Bracknell Forest Borough Council.
At the same time, Forestcare also launched its successful range of Lifeline community alarm monitoring services for tenants at home and in residential housing schemes under both Council and private management.
In 1999 the Emergency Duty Team of social workers, was integrated with Forestcare under one management and now works very closely with the Emergency Response Officers of the Forestcare Control Centre.
