Major achievements 2010/11
You Said
We are concerned at the way drivers negotiate Pitts Bridge and the high number of accidents that have occurred. We are also concerned at the long queues during rush hour that lead to speeding through Binfield to make up for time spent queuing.
We Did
Carried out various surveys to compile a report that supported these views and sent these to Bracknell Forest Council and The Highways Department. As a result of this traffic lights were installed at the bridge and this has significantly reduced queues, speeding and accidents.
You Said
We would like better engagement with our local police.
We Did
Worked with the police, in particular our PCSOs, to find ways of improving engagement with the community. Our PCSO’s can regularly be seen outside the school engaging with parents during drop off/ pick up times.
