Equality & Cohesion Forum (Formerly known as the Racist Incident Advisory Forum RIAF)

Bracknell Forest’s RIAF was set up in April 2007 and meets bi-monthly.

It primarily aims to focus on the analysis of racist incidents in the local area.  Such incidents are a matter of concern to Thames Valley Police, other local statutory agencies, the voluntary sector and the wider community.

The forum presents an opportunity to encourage reporting of incidents, to consider those reports and to identify trends and locations within Bracknell Forest.

Current membership comprises representatives from black and minority ethnic groups in Bracknell, Thames Valley Police, Bracknell Forest Borough Council, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Victim Support, Citizens Advice Bureau and Traveller Liaison.
