Discounts - Apprentices
An apprentice is a person who is employed to learn a trade or business whilst undertaking training that will lead to a qualification recognised by the National Council for Vocational Qualifications. The salary paid to the apprentice must be no greater than £195.00 per week and must be less than what they would earn once qualified.
To apply for this discount please write to Revenue Services and provide confirmation from the employer that the person:
- is employed on an apprentice basis
- will earn less that £195.00 per week
- would earn more once qualified
We will also require confirmation of the vocational qualification training course they are undertaking.
