Class V - Properties Occupied by a Diplomat

A property is exempt from Council Tax if the Council Taxpayer is covered by the Diplomatic Privileges Act 1964, the Commonwealth Secretariat Act 1966, the Consular Relations Act 1968 or the Commonwealth Countries and Republic of Ireland (Immunities and Privileges) Order 1985.

To apply for this exemption please write to Revenue Services with written confirmation of your diplomatic status.
